As a result, InterMed is looking for an Imaging Field Service Engineer to perform repairs and preventive maintenance. This individual would be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and repairing imaging equipment for our accounts in the area and must willing to traveling for work. Accurate service reporting and documentation is a crucial aspect of this role. Experience with multiple modalities is preferred. This is a full-time benefited position. Field Service Engineer Service Responsibilities: Responsible for one or more of the following devices: general X-ray, CT, MRI, digital X-ray, , ultrasound, mammography and mobile X-ray. Minimum 5 years of experience in the CT or MRI modality required Performs scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipment Repairs, installs and calibrates complex medical imaging equipment devices and systems Informs managers of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations and any customer concerns Performs periodic inspections of current inventory status and maintains inventory of common failure parts to ensure equipment uptime Works with, directs and documents the activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A.S.
