Routes are subject to change based upon business needs. Must be willing and flexible to travel occasionally to other sites within the region to provide back up support.  Essential Duties Utilizes radiopharmaceuticals as well as oral and IV contrast agents to perform a variety of diagnostic PET, PET/CT and CT examinations. Providing quality patient care and comfort and ensuring patient safety during the procedure. Explaining medical procedures to patients and answering any questions they may have. Performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment. Working in collaboration with radiologists who depend on the technologist to ensure that an imaging test goes smoothly and that precise, detailed images are captured. This position may be required to travel up to 100% of the time.  Performs other duties as assigned. : Education and/or Experience Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field (preferred). Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program. CNMT or RT (N) New York: State license required. Must be dual certified in nuclear medicine and diagnostic CT through (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).  CPR certification required; all mandatory education is provided by the company. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
