Our Home Health Aides assist clients with their daily needs while promoting safety, comfort, dignity, and independence in their homes. Primary Responsibilities Personal Care • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. • Provide toileting and incontinence care. • Assist with mobility, walking, positioning, and transfers. • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). • Provide medication reminders as directed by the client’s plan of care. • Observe and report changes in the client’s condition. Companionship • Provide friendly and meaningful companionship. • Engage clients in conversation and appropriate activities. • Provide emotional and social support. • Accompany clients on errands, walks, activities, or appointments when assigned. • Provide supervision and reassurance as needed. Light Housekeeping & Household Support • Perform light housekeeping and general tidying. • Wash dishes and clean kitchen areas after use. • Assist with laundry and changing bed linens. • Prepare simple meals and snacks. • Take out household trash as needed. • Help maintain a clean and safe living environment. Qualifications • Home Health Aide (HHA) training or applicable caregiving experience preferred. • Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to follow the client’s plan of care and agency policies. • Dependable transportation to assigned client homes. • Ability to successfully complete required background screening and onboarding.
