As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding their staff and seeking a Lighting Retrofit Technician to join the FSG - Southern California team.   JOB DESCRIPTION As a Lighting Retrofit Technician, you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in customers’ facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Additionally, there is a hiring bonus for bringing a complete crew. A Lighting Retrofit Technician will: Comply with FSG safety policies. Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems. Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout service job/work order process. Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines. Qualifications: JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Degree At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience. Lighting and retrofit experience preferred. Valid driver’s license Willingness to travel Must be reliable. Strong verbal and written communications skills Positive customer service skills NRLT, CSLT, and/or CALT Certification a plus!
