We owe our century of existence entirely to the people of Hawai‘i Island. From our modest beginnings in a 500-square-foot store in 1916, KTA Super Stores and our associates remain deeply rooted in a single, quiet philosophy: to humbly serve the community that sustains us.

Packaging & Merchandising: Tray, pack, wrap, price, and display prepared meat and seafood products. Refill, rotate, and maintain display cases, bulk item tags, and marinade mixes.
Department Support & Inventory: Receive, unload, weigh, and store freight promptly. Unload whole fish from vendors and process invoices for payment. Assist with monthly inventory, refill supplies, and troubleshoot equipment.
Sanitation & Maintenance: Clean all meat, seafood, and freezer showcases. Clean and sanitize the meat preparation room, equipment, and utensils using proper cleaning solutions.
Customer & Team Engagement: Promptly and efficiently greet, thank, offer assistance to, and meet the needs of all customers with local warmth and hospitality. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with customer requests.

Environment: Continuously work in a chilled room that may be wet, noisy, extremely cold, and have a strong smell of raw meat and seafood. Seldom work outdoors to receive freight and discard trash/boxes.
Physical Effort: Continuously stand, walk, handle, use fingers, and maintain corrected vision with good depth perception and color vision for safety. Frequently lift and carry up to 150 lbs when receiving freight and moving products to cutting tables/machines. Occasionally bend, squat, reach, and push/pull up to 1,000 lbs on stock wagons.
