Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: OK Corporate - Oklahoma City, OK, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $22.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Skilled Labor - Trades, JOB SUMMARY: Assist in the day-to-day functions of the Weld Department, including but not limited to the welding and prepping of carbon steel valve bodies.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Operation of various equipment using the stick welding processes.  - Read Engineering prints/drawings/documents.  - Work individually and as part of a team.  - Identify and verify parts and materials.  - Verify accuracy of paperwork as required.  - Periodically inspect tools and equipment for accuracy/deficiencies.  - Ensure job orders remain with parts at all times.  - Sandblast and clean various components while standing for long periods of time.  - Observe and follow all Safety practices dictated by the Weld Department Supervisor and company policy.  - Weld carbon steel valve bodies and bonnets.  - Work and assist in other departments as required and perform other duties as assigned.  Qualifications: SKILLS REQUIRED: - Ability to operates various equipment using the stick welding processes. - Ability to read Engineering prints/drawings. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent organization skills. - Ability to lift 51lbs or more on occasion with a lifting partner. - Must be punctual and reliable. - Ability to be certified on SMAW101 Weld Test.
