Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician with a strong background in working on Hyundai Genesis vehicles to join our team at Classic Hyundai of Hampton. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, located in Hampton, Virginia. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai Genesis vehicles to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Hyundai Genesis vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations - Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues - Utilize diagnostic tools and technology to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles - Communicate with customers regarding repairs and provide estimates for cost and repair timeline - Document all repairs and maintain accurate records - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines - Keep up-to-date on the latest Hyundai Genesis technology and updates - Assist in training and mentoring less experienced technicians Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - At least 1-3 years of experience working on Hyundai Genesis vehicles - Current ASE certifications or willingness to obtain them - Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills - Proficient with diagnostic equipment and technology - Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time EEOC Statement: Classic Hyundai of Hampton is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
