Job Title: Automotive Sales Associate Subaru Newnan Job Summary An Automotive Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles that meet their needs and budget. This role involves building strong customer relationships, understanding vehicle features, negotiating pricing, and ensuring a smooth sales process from initial inquiry to final delivery. Key Responsibilities • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner • Identify customer needs through active listening and asking relevant questions • Present, demonstrate, and explain vehicle features, specifications, and benefits • Conduct test drives and provide detailed product information • Discuss pricing, financing options, trade-ins, warranties, and additional services • Negotiate sales terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets • Maintain knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and market trends • Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred) • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Persuasive negotiation skills • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record • Computer and phone application proficiency Preferred Skills & Competencies • Knowledge of automotive products and industry trends • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment • Strong organizational and time management skills • Professional appearance and demeanor • Ability to build long-term customer relationships Work Environment • Primarily based in a dealership showroom • Requires weekend and evening hours (Closed on Sunday) • Combination of standing, walking, and occasional outdoor lot work Compensation • Competitive Commission Compensation plan • Performance bonuses and incentives • Employee discounts on vehicles and services • Health benefits and paid time off About the Subaru Newnan: Subaru of Newnan is a Family owned and operated automotive dealership in Newnan, GA, dedicated to providing customers with top-quality vehicles and exceptional service.
