Head Start relies on volunteers to assist with our program’s needs and we have a variety of opportunities for volunteers. Volunteer Opportunities: Classroom Volunteer – Assist with developmentally appropriate activities, lesson plans, and special classroom activities. Food Service Volunteer - Assist with activities performed in the center kitchen and meal times with children. Office Volunteer – Perform clerical duties, such as word processing, photocopying/scanning, and filing. Answer and forward telephone calls and welcomes visitors. Speakers/Presenters – Share your knowledge in your area of expertise by presenting your information to student, parents, or program staff.
