Employment Requirements/Benefits/Applying for Position: Employment Requirements: The Teacher Assistant must be a matriculated college student and must maintain a 3.0 grade point average.  Must hold a minimum of a High School Diploma Previous experience with special needs children or adults is helpful. Successful candidates will be required to provide evidence of matriculation and grade point average, as well as complete a physical and drug screen, and a NJ Department of Education criminal history background check. Compensation: starting at $15.49 per hour. Increases are based upon experience and achievement of credit hours.
