Job Details: Job Location: Pandaland (PreK-1st) - San Fernando, CA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $37.00Hourly, Job Category: Classified, JOB TITLE: Classroom Paraprofessional (TK – 1st Grade) STATUS: Part-Time, Up to 22.5 hours/wk, REPORTS TO: Curriculum Coordinator SITE: Panda Land PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist classroom teacher as directed Monitor & supervise students indoors and outdoors Conduct student observations as needed Support education program through-out the school day Attend educational field trips as needed Implement classroom procedures Participate in all school emergency and safety plans Support all students in all learning activities Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED 48 semester college units/60 quarter college units OR pass a pre-employment test with 70% or better. Current college enrollment, if bachelors not yet earned Proficient in reading, writing, and math   DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual: English/Spanish Degree in Education or related field Experience working in a primary classroom setting Experience with small group presentations Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Experience and commitment to working collaboratively with staff, parents, and community   COMPENSATION/BENEFITS $20.00 - $24.00/hr. (no bachelor's degree); $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
