No certification is required — just a warm heart, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors living with memory loss.   Position Summary As a Caregiver, you'll provide hands-on, person-centered support to residents with their daily activities, helping them live each day with dignity, comfort, and joy. You'll work closely with our nursing and Life Enrichment teams to make sure every resident feels safe, cared for, and truly known.   About Our Community We’re a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 48 residents. We are conveniently located off George Bush Turnpike on Miller Road in Rowlett, TX. Intimate enough that every team member truly knows every resident. All of our residents live with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, and as an age-in-place community, you’ll care for residents across the full spectrum of the disease. Smaller team, bigger impact.   What You’ll Do Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support residents during mealtimes, encouraging proper nutrition and hydration Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment Observe and promptly report any changes in resident conditions or behavior to nursing staff Support residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia with patience, empathy, and understanding Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents Document care provided according to community policy Qualifications: What We’re Looking For No certification required, although prior experience is preferred Genuine compassion for seniors and a heart for memory care Reliable, punctual, and able to stay calm and patient in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening   Why You’ll Love Working Here Paid training and ongoing support to help you grow in your caregiving career A small, close-knit team where your work is seen and valued Meaningful, purpose-driven work caring for seniors Competitive pay Benefits available for eligible employees Apply today.
