Job Details: Job Location: Kinship Pointe at McCook - McCook, NE, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: 1st Shift, General Description Performs light cleaning duties to maintain all common areas and designated resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, general upkeep, linen change out, and trash removal. Additional duties may include laundry services and providing cleaning following spills and accidents. Essential Duties: Provides daily cleaning of main common areas and offices to include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and windows. Cleans residents’ apartments to include bathroom, toilets, trash, dusting and vacuuming. Cleans public restrooms and employee breakroom. Vacuums halls and front lobby as required by schedule or as needed. Responsible for emptying trash in offices daily. Building cleaning as needed to include baseboards, ceiling light fixtures, and other hard to reach/access areas. Prefer prior experience in AL, IL or SNF. Require one year of prior experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping. Specific Requirements: Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
