Description • Performing a variety of complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems • Participating in experimental design, circuitry design, and prototype models • Participating in system design, fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical devices • Performing on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of company products and equipment • Providing technical support to customers on operational/maintenance aspects of system equipment • Updating system drawings and making recommendations for upgrades as appropriate • Training and mentoring junior team members • Participating in establishing production best practices #LI-JC1 Requirements • Five or more years of experience with basic computer & networking skills, electronics/electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and cable fabrication Desired Skills • Prefer IPC-620 & IPC J-STD Certification • Formal electronics training • Cable fabrication training • Basic electricity knowledge • Integration knowledge • Mechanical aptitude • Ability to lead a team • Ability to train personnel • Knowledgeable in Production best practices Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL Travel Requirements • 10-25% Travel required About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
