Overview Department: Rehabilitation- Occupational Therapy Employment Type: PRN/ Per Diem Shifts Available: Day Shift Hours: 8-hour shift- 7-3:30 pm; weekend and holiday rotation Location: St. Joseph Medical Center- Kansas City, MO Join our outpatient rehabilitation team as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and make a meaningful impact by helping patients regain independence in their daily lives. In this role, you will work one-on-one with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions, focusing on improving functional abilities, fine motor skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs). Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/ Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): • Deliver outpatient occupational therapy treatments focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, and upper extremity function • Provide therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training • Educate patients on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs (HEP) • Document care and monitor progress in EMR (Epic) • Support orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation • Ensure compliance with Medicare, CMS, and clinical guidelines Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
