Job Description As a Elite Security Officer Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:00 PM - 11:30 PMWed12:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur12:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to retail location customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns. • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws. • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel. • Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, patrol activity, and interactions with customers, employees, and public service personnel. Minimum Requirements: • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
