As a DSP, you'll support individuals in their homes and communities by assisting with daily activities, fostering social connections, and encouraging participation in meaningful experiences that promote independence and inclusion. How You’ll Make an Impact: • Build meaningful, long-term relationships through one-on-one support. • Participate in clients’ favorite activities and community events, including programs such as Special Olympics. • Assist individuals in developing independence and achieving personal goals, such as budgeting, shopping, socializing, using public transportation, and maintaining an active lifestyle. • Provide support with dignity, respect, and person-centered care. • Promote client safety and well-being at home and in the community. • Help create enjoyable and enriching experiences that support inclusion and quality of life • Have fun on Maui as a supportive Buddy!
