Per Diem On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health Evening On-Call | Kent County, DE. Make a Difference When Patients Need It Most. BAYADA at Bayhealth is seeking an experienced Per Diem On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide evening home health coverage for adult and geriatric patients throughout Kent County, DE. In this flexible on-call role, you'll provide in-home skilled nursing visits, complete Start of Care admissions as needed, and deliver exceptional patient-centered care while being supported by an experienced clinical team. Schedule • Monday through Thursday • 5:00 PM – 830 AM • On-call during scheduled hours • Conduct in-person home visits as needed • Receive both an on-call stipend and visit-based compensation Why Join BAYADA? What We Offer • Weekly pay with direct deposit • Mileage reimbursement • Comprehensive benefits may include: • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance • Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time (where applicable) • 401(k) with company match • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • One-on-one clinical support and mentorship • Ongoing education, scholarship opportunities, and career advancement • Recognition programs and employee referral bonuses • A supportive team culture built on compassion, excellence, and reliability Responsibilities As a Per Diem On-Call RN, you will: • Respond to after-hours patient needs within your assigned coverage area • Deliver skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and other prescribed interventions • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager • Follow physician orders and ensure timely, accurate documentation • Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team • Document all patient care using an electronic medical record (EMR) system Qualifications • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Delaware. • Minimum of one year of recent, verifiable Home Health nursing experience • Experience completing OASIS documentation and Start of Care visits required • Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication skills • Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR); Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience is a plus • Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Somerset, Union, Middlesex, and Monmouth Counties Additional Information Base Pay, depending upon qualifications, status, and subject to negotiation: • $70 per visit • Weekday Stipend $100 per day • Weekend Stipend $150 per day If you're an experienced Home Health RN looking for a flexible evening opportunity with a supportive team and meaningful one-on-one patient care, we'd love to hear from you.
