Essential Functions: Diagnose, adjust, and overhaul diesel engines on all vessels and equipment operated by FICA. Maintain preventive maintenance protocol to ensure optimum fleet operation. working an overnight shift Responsibilities: • Performs preventive and routine maintenance on all vessels, trolleys, ramps, and any other marine-related equipment. • Respond to equipment casualties and determine a strategy for repair • Follow established preventive maintenance schedules and procedures • Perform in-house repairs on main engines, generators, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems. • Report repairs needed or unusual findings to the immediate supervisor • Present professional attire at all times • Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance, repairs, and observations • Follows preventive procedures as ordered by the Manager of Marine Maintenance • Complain with all Fisher Island standards, policies, and procedures. • Perform all necessary repairs. • Communicate (read, write, speak) professionally • Perform other duties as assigned by management • Maintain working areas clean.
