POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Press Helper Department: Printing Classification: Hourly Location: OYR - Warminster Reports to Directly: Press Operator Date: Key Back Up: Press Operator Position Purpose: Assist in running the Printing press PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow and adhere to the I.Q.M.S. schedule • Load and unload skids into the delivery and feeder section of the Press • Manage all waste sheets coming from the Press • Properly run and maintain the feeder section of Press • Move finished and unfinished skids to next staging area and scan • Properly clean, store and inventory metal printing plates • Make sure all ink and water levels are maintained • Complete production forms and paperwork • Clean and maintain a safe and organized work area • All other assigned duties QUALIFICATIONS: Experience Required: • Must have knowledge of paper handling • Must have knowledge of inventory control Skills/Abilities • Strong math skills • Ability to follow and implement step by step instructions • Ability to move heavy objects up to 50lbs. • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high speed equipment • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English • Must be efficient in multi tasking. Quality Standards: Must be able to understand quality standards and perform quality checks. Safety: To maintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance) Proper use of all safety equipment i.e.: proper use of personal protective gear including hairnets, gloves and safety glasses. 11:30pm-7:30am
