We have an excellent opportunity for a per diem Facility Maintenance Technician. This position provides building maintenance in support of the Dumfries and Fairfax Ambulatory Care Centers. Why Choose Spectrum Healthcare Resources? • Work in a purpose-driven environment and support our Nation's military Veterans and their families • Enjoy work-life balance with a per diem opportunity | Estimated 20-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday • Join a supportive team and benefit from exceptional colleagues and a positive working environment The primary responsibilities will include: • Provides facility maintenance and repairs • Handles repairs, cleaning, and other general upkeep for the building • General tasks include, but not limited to, changing light bulbs, putting together appliances, fixing leaky sinks and toilets, and at times, rewiring electrical units • Provides oversight to outside contractors performing any type of work in the facility not associated with medical equipment • Maintains basic proficiency in the use of the software system that controls the magnetic door locks in the clinic and be able to perform basic trouble-shooting related to the timing of automatic locking and unlocking of clinic doors. Contact vendor expert help desk support as needed for magnetic door locking troubleshooting • Maintains basic proficiency in the use of the software system that controls the recording and playback of our clinic security cameras.
