Job Title: Account Executive/Senior Account Executive - Enterprise Sales Location: Hickory, NC (Hybrid) Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 Position Summary ASD is hiring an Account Executive (or Senior Account Executive, depending on experience) to sell technology integration services and custom-engineered solutions to mid-to-large enterprise businesses — pursued in the same way the majority of ASD's sales team operates today. Unlike ASD's Georgia-focused SMB role, this position carries no defined geographic territory: the successful candidate will prospect, close, and quarterback opportunities across multiple internal and external stakeholders throughout the full client lifecycle, wherever those opportunities arise. Final leveling (Account Executive vs. Senior Account Executive) and corresponding compensation will be determined based on the candidate's sales experience, industry background, and vertical expertise. Territory & Market Focus No fixed geography — mid-to-large enterprise accounts nationwide, consistent with how the broader ASD sales team pursues business today. Key Responsibilities • Utilize ASD's tech stack/CRM to develop a healthy, qualified pipeline and accurately forecast deals. • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships with enterprise accounts. • Work with clients to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives, and needs, and communicate those findings to relevant stakeholders, internal and external. • Set proper customer expectations consistent with ASD's service offerings and delivery potential. • Coordinate the creation, review, and hand-off of proposals and scopes of work. • Understand, establish, and promote relationships with OEMs, channel partners, vendors, and other strategic partners. • Quarterback opportunities throughout the full client lifecycle, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders. • Meet or exceed annual sales quota. Required Qualifications • 3+ years of B2B technology/solutions sales experience for Account Executive level; 5+ years with a proven track record of quota over-achievement on enterprise deals for Senior Account Executive level. • Exceptional prospecting and closing skills; familiar with a 3–6 month sales cycle. • Comfortable working autonomously and self-motivated; thrives with a little healthy competition. • Strong, professional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to travel locally and out of state (approximate travel is 0–4 overnight trips per month). Preferred Qualifications • Experience in one or more of ASD's core technology solution areas (access control, surveillance, structured cabling, audiovisual, wireless, etc.). • Commercial construction experience, including new builds, renovations, and retrofits. • Existing book of business or industry relationships that translate to enterprise opportunities. • Bachelor's degree. • BICSI RCDD certification. Why ASD? Founded in 1987, Automated Systems Design, Inc. (ASD) is a nationwide provider of design, engineering, and project management services for workplace technology. Our mission is to help our clients create, manage, and support technology-enabled spaces. We are fortunate to be in such a rapidly evolving and expanding industry; this provides ample opportunities for our business –and the people who make it all possible– to grow. Benefits • Uncapped Commission • 100% Paid Medical and Dental • Up to dollar-for-dollar 401 (k) matching (you are eligible for this after your 90-day waiting period) • 15 days of PTO in your first two years and more with tenure • Family 1st motto and belief • Promotions and room for growth within Our People & Culture ASD’s culture empowers our people to be who they are, contribute honestly, and make a difference individually and collectively. Prioritizing diversity enables us to leverage different ideas and unique perspectives to bring more creative and innovative solutions to everything we do.
