Responsibilities may include: • Taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall • Preparing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting • Applying primer, paint, and other finishes • Performing touch-ups and finish work • Identifying and correcting surface imperfections • Misc. other construction tasks when needed • Protecting adjacent surfaces and maintaining a clean work area • Working safely and efficiently alongside other trades • Maintaining a high standard of quality and craftsmanship Skills -Education - Experience • Previous professional painting and/or drywall finishing experience preferred • Knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, surface preparation, and painting techniques • Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Dependable with a strong work ethic • Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and equipment • Valid driver’s license to travel to various commercial construction project locations Compensation and Benefits • Salary Range: $26 - $36/hour - This position is eligible for additional compensation through our quarterly bonus program equivalent to $1 – $3 an hour in addition to wages worked in previous quarter. • Paid Time Off & Holidays (start earning time off upon hire) • Health & Dental Insurance (eligible 1st of the month following hire date) • Employer paid Life insurance ($50,000) • Short- and Long-term Disability Insurance • Tax Free Flexible Spending, Health Savings Plan & Dependent Care • 401(k) with company match: ECI contributes $0.25 for every $1.00 you contribute on the first 3% of pay, and $0.50 for every $1.00 you contribute from 4% through 10% of pay. • Paid professional & craft development • Travel pay • Well-Being Incentives paid weekly ($15 - $30/week) Reimbursements: • 50% for Wellness Activities • 50% for Work Boots • 70% for Eyeglass/Contacts Engelberth Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
