People Incorporated of Virginia is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Teacher Assistant for the Child and Family Development program at the Buchanan County Early Head Start Center. The Teacher Assistant will utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your experience working with students in a classroom setting will be essential in providing support to students with diverse learning needs. Position provides support to classroom teachers and direct educational services and health assessments to children, conducts data entry and completes documentation. A minimum of three months classroom experience working with children required. A high school diploma/GED is required as well as a valid driver's license; excellent driving record and reliable driving record and reliable transportation also required.
