Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As I&C Engineer you govern the instrumentation and controls design on the owner's behalf: the control system, instrumentation, turbine controls, and fire and gas detection. What you get to do: • Review control system architecture and instrumentation design. • Assess control narratives, logic diagrams and alarm philosophy. • Review the turbine control interface and plant control integration. • Evaluate I&C change requests and field queries. • Partner with the site team on controls technical questions. • Track design deliverable status against the schedule. • Monitor preservation and storage requirements for instrumentation. What you bring to the role: • 10+ years in instrumentation and controls engineering for power or process plants. • Hands-on experience with distributed control systems and turbine control integration. • Working knowledge of ISA standards and functional safety. • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification. • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline — required for this position. Nice to have: • Owner-side engineering experience. • Professional engineering registration.
