Tech Partners is partnering with a growing organization to add a Senior Drafter to a fast-scaling national program. This is a senior seat. You'll model in Inventor, produce high-volume site-adapt drawing packages, set the bar for drawing quality, and shape the standards and templates the rest of the team runs on. If you've spent years turning base designs into clean, construction-ready packages and you're the person others bring their redlines to, this role is built for you. What You'll Do • Build 3D models in Autodesk Inventor and produce complete drawing packages, modifying base designs to fit specific site requirements • Deliver construction-ready and shop drawing packages with high accuracy at production speed • Review and redline drawings from other drafters; catch issues before they hit the field • Build and maintain drafting templates, content libraries, and standards • Manage revision tracking and version control across every assigned project • Mentor junior drafters and help the drafting lead balance workload across new program work and backlog • Partner with Project Managers and site foremen to confirm conditions and resolve design questions • Manage revisions and approvals across customer, permitting, and internal workflows • Flag risks early and communicate status and priorities clearly to the drafting lead and project teams What We're Looking For Must-Have • 8+ years of professional drafting experience producing construction or shop drawings • Strong Autodesk Inventor proficiency (3D modeling and drawing production; work samples required) • Solid AutoCAD skills for 2D documentation • Experience reviewing, checking, or QA'ing drawings produced by others • Track record creating or enforcing drafting standards and templates • Ability to work independently, prioritize across concurrent projects, and hold quality under deadline pressure • Comfortable working directly with PMs, shop personnel, and field teams • On-site in Tulsa, OK (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional OT) • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Nice to Have • Lead, supervisory, or mentoring experience on a drafting team • Revit experience • Site-adapt drafting or adapting standard designs to unique locations • Field verification experience (site visits, measurements, as-builts) • Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or multi-site rollout programs (telecom, energy, infrastructure) • PDM/Vault administration or version control ownership What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) • Up to speed on the Inventor environment, standards, and workflows within 30 days • Delivering independent site-adapt packages by day 45 • Reviewing other drafters' work and contributing template or standards improvements by day 60 • Owning approvals, permitting coordination, and PM communication on assigned projects by day 90 • Recognized by PMs and field teams as the go-to drafter for hard problems Compensation & Work Environment • Base salary: $80,000 to $90,000 • Full-time, on-site in Tulsa, OK (no remote option) • Occasional overtime based on project demand • Direct exposure to project and field operations Why This Role • Compensation in the top tier of the Tulsa drafting market • Senior influence on how a national program's drawings get built and checked • Immediate impact in a capacity-constrained, growth-stage environment • A structured production setting where your standards become the team's standards Interested candidates can apply or email [email protected] for more details.
