Description An Access Medical Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in delivering compassionate, high quality care within our clinic. This position supports both patients and providers by performing essential clinical tasks, ensuring accurate documentation, and helping create a welcoming, efficient environment. Details include: • Support patient visits by monitoring vital signs, obtaining medical history, assisting with minor procedures, performing phlebotomy, and providing direct patient care under provider guidance. • Administer medications and vaccinations accurately and safely in accordance with clinic policies. • Perform point of care testing and enter accurate orders for labs and diagnostic tests in the EMR. • Document patient care thoroughly and timely, including changes in condition, services performed, and medications administered. • Use EMR systems efficiently for clinical and administrative tasks, including entering charges and maintaining up to date patient records. • Educate and support patients and families by offering health information, guidance, and wellness promotion. • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards, ensuring all patient information is handled responsibly and professionally. • See job description for more information. What Would Be Great to Have • Additional or advanced BLS certification beyond the required level. • Previous experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
