Description Job Summary Looking for a Baker to join our early morning team in either a Full Time or Part Time position. This position is 4am-12pm shift. The Baker will prepare, bake, and present a variety of baked goods, ensuring they are fresh, high-quality, and attractively displayed. This role blends traditional baking with customer interaction, upholding Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience. Key Responsibilities Baking & Preparation: • Analyze baking needs and bake products consistently throughout shifts. • Measure, mix, bake, and package goods; assist with donut frying and cake decorating. • Monitor inventory and assist with ingredient ordering. Customer Interaction: • Assist customers in selecting baked goods and answer product-related questions. • Offer recommendations and inform customers about specials or new products. Kitchen & Work Area Maintenance: • Keep the bakery area clean and sanitary, adhering to food safety standards. • Clean ovens, equipment, and dispose of waste. Inventory & Stocking: • Monitor stock levels and assist with receiving and storing bakery shipments. • Report shortages or equipment issues. Skills & Competencies: • Basic math skills, ability to work independently and as a team, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude. Working Conditions and Physical Demands • Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and working in varying temperatures and around loud machinery. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
