Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and administer plans, initiatives and programs to improve supply chain efficiency, effectiveness, inventory levels, and alignment with organizational business objectives. • Collect, analyze, and mine complex data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement; guide data collection or acquisition strategies when needed to improve the validity of analyses. • Evaluate demand patterns, inventory strategies, and planning assumptions to optimize inventory investment, service levels, and business responsiveness. • Monitor forecasting programs to help optimize scheduling and floor space and reduce missed shipments. • Work closely with procurement, logistics, production, and other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals and customer requirements. • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system utilization, and increase automation. • Coordinate support for new ventures and acquisitions to help ensure materials, capacity, and customer requirements are brought on-line with standard Chem-Trend practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Materials Science, Mining, or a related field required • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, materials planning, logistics, or a related manufacturing environment • Strong understanding of production scheduling, customer delivery requirements, and supplier coordination • Working knowledge of batch processing of chemical specialty products and inventory control required. ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
