We are currently looking to urgently hire Sandblasting Technicians for 1st and 2nd Shift. The Sandblasting Technician purpose is to ensure that paint and other organic finishes are removed from racks/components in accordance with established company instructions. Duties and Responsibilities: • Must be physically able to work up to 12 hours a day with most time spent on your feet. • Read and understand English. • Loading, unloading and transfer of components. • Self-directed efforts to work at an efficient pace to accomplish work and projects assigned on and ahead of schedule. • Sand blasting of racks and various other components. • Respond efficiently to unplanned events. • Troubleshoot and work through process equipment problems. • Follow company quality and application parameters. • Maintain equipment and housekeeping needs. • Maintain proper housekeeping of blasting equipment and the area. Requirements Qualification: • Basic computer skills. • Education / Certifications. • High School Diploma, or equivalent. • Previous sandblasting experience, knowledge of machine operation and maintenance. • Self-directed, strong communication and organization skills, good time management skills, ability to lift 25lbs.
