Description Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk: Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable. Provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his/her control. Performs accounts payable, data entry, records and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties. Requirements • Accounts Payable • Matches invoices to appropriate packing slips and purchase orders. • Accurately enters all vendor invoices into the ERP system. • Resolve aged and blocked invoices by investigating pricing differences, receipt posting discrepancies, incorrect PO#’s, and quantity variances by working with Purchasing department. • Conducts vendor account reconciliations. Reports and Misc. Duties • Reconciles report discrepancies, vendor statements and problems. • Assists employees and vendors by answering questions related to accounts, procedures and services. • Miscellaneous duties as assigned. • Filing • Answering phones • Sorting and opening mail.
