What you'll do: • Set up, operate, and tend welding machines to join components and fabricate metal products and assemblies • Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures for bonding, heat-treating, or soldering • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together, usually in fixtures • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements • Set up equipment and weld parts using MIG welding equipment • Assemble parts by bolting and riveting • Operate punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube-bending equipment • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts What you'll need: • Ability to take and pass a welding test • Your own welding gear Ready to build your future with us?
