While maintaining positive work habits, personal qualities, and sanitation standards for food service area(s). Qualifications: • Compassion for the elderly. • High School Diploma or equivalent. • 90 hours Food Supervisor Course from an accredited sponsor, or equivalent, and State Food Service Sanitation Certificate. • Must be able to prepare food(s) from recipe. • Ability to work independently. • Satisfactory clearance of criminal history background check. Requirements Job Responsibilities: • Follows the Culinary Directors instruction in producing and serving food to meet with standards. • Performs duties involved in the safe preparation and handling of food, cleaning, and sanitizing of equipment and facility. • Exhibits knowledge of operating all equipment, work techniques and methods of performing duties. • Maintains required forms and records as assigned by Director. • Utilizes all food stocked to the fullest extent possible. • Advised Culinary Director of repairs needed for equipment. • Works under stress effectively and efficiently. • Exhibits willingness to work in any situation. • Maintains personal qualities appropriate for task at hand. • Continually looks to upgrade level of skill. • Participate in in-service training sessions. • Maintains regular attendance. • Exhibits punctuality. • Exhibits enthusiasm. • Performs other duties assigned by Director.
