Warehouse Supervisor Location: Strafford and Swedesboro North Carolina Company: 1 Resource Group Department: Warehouse / Operations Position Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Warehouse Management, Zoho Inventory Management & Forklift Operation Position Summary Team oversight: Four warehouse associates Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations at our solar warehouse and lead a team of four warehouse associates. This position is responsible for accurate inventory, efficient receiving and shipping, safe material handling, and timely preparation of materials for solar installation crews. Experience using Zoho to maintain inventory and warehouse records is required. Key Responsibilities • Assign daily tasks, set priorities, and oversee the work of four warehouse associates. • Train and coach team members on warehouse procedures, accuracy, productivity, and safety. • Coordinate receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of solar equipment and materials. • Prepare and verify job-specific material orders, including solar panels, inverters, racking, and electrical components. • Use Zoho to record receipts, shipments, inventory transfers, returns, and adjustments. • Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records. • Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and installation teams to ensure materials are ready for scheduled projects. • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages, damaged products, and replenishment needs. • Maintain an organized warehouse with clear storage locations and safe access to materials. • Oversee loading and unloading and ensure equipment is handled safely to prevent damage. • Track order accuracy, turnaround times, and team performance; report issues to management. • Assist with warehouse tasks as needed to meet daily operational demands. Requirements Required Qualifications • Previous warehouse experience with responsibility for leading or supervising a team. • Practical experience using Zoho for inventory, orders, or warehouse recordkeeping. • Strong understanding of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment. • Ability to organize workloads, communicate clear expectations, and hold team members accountable. • Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve inventory and operational issues. • Comfort working in a warehouse environment and performing the position’s essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in solar, electrical supply, construction materials, or a related industry. • Familiarity with solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and installation materials. • Forklift and pallet jack operating experience. • Experience improving warehouse organization and inventory processes. Success in This Role The Warehouse Lead will maintain accurate inventory in Zoho, prepare complete and correct orders on time, keep the warehouse organized and safe, and ensure all four warehouse associates understand their responsibilities and perform effectively.
