Key Responsibilities • Complete work orders efficiently and professionally • Perform apartment turns and make‑ready tasks across multiple unit types • Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, HVAC, and appliances • Support preventative maintenance programs for buildings and community amenities • Assist with exterior building repairs and seasonal tasks • Participate in grounds maintenance and snow removal • Provide coverage for the 24/7 emergency on‑call rotation Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum 2-years general maintenance experience • Minimum 6-month apartment or similar maintenance experience • Skills in drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical • Appliance repair knowledge, including washers and dryers • EPA HVAC Certification preferred • CPO Certification preferred • Ability to physically demonstrate job duties during the interview process Benefits • Quarterly bonuses up to $750 • Tuition reimbursement • Tool reimbursement: $250 after 6 months and $500 annually thereafter • Paid time off: 80 hours in year one, increasing up to 160 hours with tenure • Paid holidays including your birthday or work anniversary • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting as low as $50 per month • Life and disability insurance • Housing discount of 20% at any Monarch community after 30 days • Longevity benefits, including a three‑week PTO sabbatical or bonus check every fifth year, and a free apartment after ten years A physical demonstration of your ability to complete job duties will be required during the interview process.
