What You’ll Do As an onsite medical interpreter, you will: • Provide accurate, high-quality consecutive interpretation during medical appointments and healthcare interactions. • Facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and patients. • Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and strict confidentiality at all times. • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness in diverse healthcare settings. • Follow client-specific protocols while confidently managing the flow of communication. You will work face-to-face in healthcare facilities on an as-needed basis as an independent contractor—offering flexibility while contributing to meaningful work. What We’re Looking For • Fluency in English and at least one target language (spoken and understood at a professional level). • Strong knowledge of medical terminology. • Proven medical interpreting experience (preferred). • Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills. • Ability to remain impartial, professional, and composed in sensitive situations. • Educational background in languages or interpretation (a plus).
