Key Responsibilities • Maintaining the boiler feed and steam parameters as per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendation. • Ensure accurate sampling and testing of coal quality. • Ensure the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling the hazardous chemicals. • Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of membrane as per design. • Maintaining database for analysis of coal testing results, yard losses, etc. • Ensure production of demineralized water as per specified quality limits. • Responsible for treatment of all the effluents to achieve and maintain the zero liquid discharge. • Ensure up-keeping of all sophisticated equipment used in water and coal testing. • Responsible for testing of lubricating oil used in various equipments of the plant • Maintaining of condensate cooling system water as per recommended treatment program. • Responsible for testing of received and feed coal sample. • Ensure the quality of raw/ input chemical used in thermal power plant as per the specified standard. • Responsible for testing of LDO/HFO oil. • Providing new updates on power plant corrosion chemistry. • Knowledge sharing- keep up with the developments in the outer environment.
