Department: Diagnostic Imaging - MRI Shift: Primarily Days (United States of America) Employee Type: Regular Per Diem Type (if applicable): Minimum Pay Range: $59.28 - $71.14 Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: This position operates various types of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist. This position also performs clerical and transport duties in the absence of those personnel on an as needed basis. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Licensure/ Certification: · Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification required via American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT or equivalent. · Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required · Current California Venipuncture certification strongly preferred. Knowledge: · Minimum of one-year experience in MRI procedures required. Skills: · Ability to physically lift, maneuver and/or manipulate patients and equipment. · Manual dexterity to operate equipment controls and switches.
