As part of the Consulting Delivery Hub, you will collaborate with colleagues worldwide, contribute to complex sustainability projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of global consulting delivery. Why this role matters? As a Consultant - Hydrogeology Modelling, you will support ERM’s global consulting delivery. You will work within different teams/service lines (i.e.: Site Investigation and Remediation), partnering with SEBU project managers to support projects delivery. This role is critical to improve efficiency/quality of the delivery. What your impact is? • Supporting junior colleagues but also Project Managers and Task Manager in analysing field data. • Supporting junior colleagues but also Project Managers and Task Manager in data reporting, preparation of technical annexes (i.e.: groundwater maps, stratigraphic logs, lithological section, etc) What will you bring? • Strong knowledge of the latest versions of MODFLOW (MODFLOW-USG / MODFLOW 6). • Proven experience using PEST for model calibration. • Excellent hydrogeological expertise. • Knowledge of hydrochemistry, including the main contaminant degradation mechanisms in the aqueous phase. • Competence in geo statistics. • Experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS). • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Preferred qualifications, skills & competencies • Experience with Python programming, particularly using FloPy. • Knowledge of FEFLOW. • Basic and multivariate statistics skills. • Proactive, curious, and problem-solving mindset. • Ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams. • Flexibility and ability to work independently in a remote working environment. Key responsibilities • Support ERM modeller in development and calibration of numerical groundwater flow and contaminant transport models • Support ERM modeller with the preparation of technical reports. • Support for site characterization and remediation projects. • Liaise with other project team members.
