The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in AWS-based environments, interface/infrastructure testing, and a growing aptitude for bridging business needs with technical test execution. Key Responsibilities • Perform automation and validation of interface/infrastructure workflows within AWS-based environments to support reliable end-to-end delivery. • Gather, clarify, and analyze business requirements with stakeholders; translate business needs into testable functional requirements and acceptance criteria. • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG for web and API testing. • Execute API testing using Postman; validate backend services, microservices, and REST API workflows. • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and sanity testing across releases. • Coordinate and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and release validation activities. • Participate in and help manage Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives — including status tracking and action item follow-up. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders on defect analysis, impact assessment, prioritization, and resolution using Jira. • Write and execute SQL queries for backend/database validation (MySQL). • Support CI/CD-related testing activities using Jenkins and version control via Git. • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement of test coverage and repeatability. Required Skills & Experience • 3–4 years of experience in software testing, with exposure to automation, API, and backend/cloud testing. • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, Core Java. • Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman) and REST API concepts. • Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments, including interface/infrastructure testing. • Good understanding of SQL/MySQL for data validation. • Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins, and working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments. • Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, including sprint planning and backlog discussions. • Demonstrated ability in requirement gathering, requirement analysis, and gap identification. • Experience supporting UAT, defect lifecycle management, and release validation. • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and analytical problem-solving skills. Good to Have • Exposure to Spring Boot-based application testing. • Prior experience as a liaison between business/product teams and technical/development teams. • Certifications or coursework in IT automation (e.g., Google IT Automation with Python) or business/data analytics. Educational Qualification • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Information Science, Computer Science, or related field). Why Join Us? • Be part of a purpose-driven organization that is shaping the future of mobility • Work on cutting-edge technologies and global projects • Thrive in a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment • Access world-class infrastructure and continuous learning opportunities Equal Opportunity Statement At MBRDI, we are committed to diversity and inclusion.
