Full description

We are looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations across a cluster of sites within the GSF organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving Last mile capacity, optimizing cost-to-serve, and delivering a superior customer experience across both established and emerging business lines. You will lead a high-performing team of operations leaders, setting direction, building capability, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless operations, scalability, and continuous improvement. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong business acumen, a bias for action, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while managing multiple priorities across a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key job responsibilities 1. Own and drive operational performance across a cluster of sites, with accountability for last mile capacity, cost efficiency, and customer experience metrics 2. Lead, coach, and develop a team of operations leaders, building organizational depth and succession pipelines 3. Partner with internal teams (planning, technology, finance, PXT) and external partners to ensure operational readiness and business continuity 4. Support the scaling of existing business lines and the onboarding of newer business verticals under the GSF org 5. Identify operational gaps, drive root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions 6. Champion a data-driven culture, leveraging metrics and insights to inform decisions and track performance 7. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and process standards across all sites. We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs. About the team You will be joining the GSF Operations team — the engine behind Amazon's fast delivery network in India. Our team operates at the intersection of speed, scale, and customer obsession, powering Amazon NOW, Same-Day Delivery (SSD), Amazon Pharmacy and Amazon Fresh. We are builders. This is not a team that manages steady-state — we are actively designing, launching, and scaling one of the most complex ultra-fast delivery networks in the world. Every day, we solve hard problems: shrinking delivery windows, expanding to new cities, onboarding new business verticals, and raising the bar on what "fast" means for our customers. Our team is made up of operations leaders and program managers who are analytical, relentlessly customer-focused, and energized by the challenge of building at pace. Basic qualifications - 3+ years of employee and performance management experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Preferred qualifications - 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit https://amazon.jobs/content/en/how-we-hire/accommodations for more information. If the country/region you’re applying in isn’t listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.
