An Assistant Building Services Worker position involves performing custodial and maintenance duties to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of buildings, furniture, and fixtures. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, furniture, restrooms, and common areas; emptying trash; stocking supplies; and removing snow and ice from walkways. Work is carried out under general supervision across classrooms, offices and other campus facilities. This is a Union position for which The Communications Workers of America has been designated as the exclusive representative. We are actively hiring and have multiple positions available. This position involves shift work, and the shift will be selected for the employee based on university needs.
