SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Sales & Service Functional Lead Role Overview The SAP OTC Sales & Service Functional Lead owns the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end Order-to-Cash Salas and service business processes across SAP S/4HANA and integrated enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, MES, PLM). This role acts as the primary bridge between business operations such as Sales Operations, Customer Service, Field Service, Logistics, and Finance and the technical delivery teams, ensuring scalable execution, seamless data orchestration, and automated workflows. Primary Responsibilities Functional Design & Architecture for OTC sales and Service e2e process • Lead requirement-gathering workshops with cross-functional business stakeholders (Sales, Remarketing , Engineering, Finance, Service, Supply Chain) to translate complex business needs into clear Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and user stories. • Architect end-to-end solutions in SAP S/4HANA for OTC processes (Sales Orders, Deliveries, Invoicing, Pricing, Credit Management, Billing) and Service Management (Service Contracts, Warranty, Field Service Orders, Repairs). • Define data flow, caching, and synchronization strategies between SAP S/4HANA and third-party/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CPQ, Subscription Billing). • Working knowledge of DMS and Sales CRM systems • Knowledge of. Integration planforms like workato Delivery & Execution Configure SAP S/4HANA SD (Sales & Distribution) and other modules, including Order Types, Material Master, Forecasting, Pricing Procedures, Output Determination, Item Categories, and Billing Plans. Collaborate with other functional leads and design e2e system design. Design specs for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects and collaborate with ABAP/middleware developers for implementation. Drive integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, data migration (customer master, sales history, open orders), and post-go-live hypercare. Optimization & Modernization Evaluate and implement SAP Fiori applications to modernize user experiences for sales and service personas. Identify process bottlenecks across quote-to-cash and warranty/service lifecycles, leveraging automation (e.g., RPA, workflow triggers) and advanced analytics. Support cloud and S/4HANA upgrade or migration roadmaps (e.g., S/4HANA 2023 to RISE with SAP). Key Qualifications & Experience Category Qualifications Experience 8+ years of hands-on functional experience in SAP SD, OTC, and MM, PP and other modules with at least 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations Technical Depth Deep knowledge of Sales Order Processing, Pricing/Taxation, Billing/Invoicing, Credit Management, Service Contracts, Warranty Management, and In-House/Field Repair. Integrations Strong background in integrating SAP with Salesforce (SFDC), CPQ tools, PLM, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), CPI Cloud foundry, workato Technical Aptitude Experience writing functional specs, reading ABAP code/debugging, and configuring SAP Fiori screens Soft Skills Strong stakeholder management, executive presentation skills, and experience leading offshore/onsite hybrid development teams. Preferred Skills Exposure to SAP Subscription Billing, or SAP Service Cloud, revenue recognition for sales and service parts and warranty. Understanding of modern productivity and automation frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Apps, Agentic AI for customer service routing). SAP Certification in S/4HANA OTC Sales and Service.
