It’s designed to help individuals recover from serious injuries or illnesses that have significantly impacted their ability to function independently. • Specialized Rehabilitation Programs: Tailored care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic trauma, and other neurological or complex conditions. • Intensive Therapy Model: Patients receive at least three hours of physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy per day, five days a week, under the supervision of a rehabilitation physician. • State-of-the-Art Facility: Offers modern therapy equipment and private rooms to support a comfortable and focused recovery environment. How you’ll contribute Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility. Essential Functions • Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT. • Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines. • Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation. • Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment. • Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information • Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills. Qualifications and requirements: • Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program. • Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred. • License: Current PTA license in state of practice. • Certifications: CPR certification required.
