A successful candidate will possess a technical foundation in mechanical equipment design / troubleshooting and machining, a quality-focused mindset, and the organization, communication skills, and initiative to support a mixed manufacturing environment. This role involves designing fixtures, reading and creating drawings, programming CNC machining centers, and helping optimize manufacturing processes at the Ridgeway Site, as well as working with the Operations team at the Pencader Site in Newark, DE. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site technical support for manufacturing operations including CNC machining of Vespel® parts and shapes Program and optimize CNC machining centers Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and inspection gauges for discrete part manufacturing Oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process to ensure production/technology changes are thoroughly reviewed and documented. Create work instructions to support new parts and operations. Support capital planning for manufacturing and facility equipment needs. Provide project support, including development of basic data, documentation management, and technical assistance. Interface with the Manufacturing Technology and Quality organizations at the Pencader site Provide regular updates and communicate progress to project team leaders and stakeholders.
