Automotive Statement Reconciliation & Cancellation Clerk Join Our Growing Dealership Team! We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Statement Reconciliation & Cancellation Clerk to support our Accounting Office. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate reconciliation of dealership schedules, receivables, and cancellation activity while maintaining strong relationships with lenders, customers, and internal departments. Responsibilities • Reconcile manufacturer, lender, warranty, and vendor statements. • Process vehicle service contract, GAP, maintenance, and ancillary product cancellations. • Track and follow up on cancellation refunds and receivables. • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and aged items. • Maintain accurate schedules and reconciliation workpapers. • Review deal files for proper documentation related to cancellations. • Communicate with lenders, warranty companies, and vendors regarding outstanding balances and refunds. • Assist with month-end closing and accounting processes. • Prepare reports and provide status updates on reconciliation and cancellation activity. • Support the Accounting Office with additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications • Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred. • Experience with cancellations, reconciliations, accounts receivable, or dealership accounting functions. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and dealership management systems. • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
