You will coordinate with insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and patients to verify eligibility, obtain authorizations, and facilitate efficient patient care delivery. Responsibilities • Verify patient eligibility and benefits with various insurance providers. • Obtain and track authorizations for home health services to ensure compliance and timely care. • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and patients regarding authorization status. • Maintain accurate records of authorizations, denials, and appeals. • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care coordination. • Stay updated on insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • MUST HAVE HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE Requirements • Previous experience in healthcare authorization, insurance verification, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of insurance eligibility and authorization processes. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and office software. • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • MUST HAVE HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE.
