The Southern Saratoga YMCA is seeking dynamic individuals for the part- time positions of Program Instructor. This position supports the work of the Y; a leading charity committed to strengthening community. Program Instructors plan and implement lesson plans, ensure safety is observed and goals of the program are met, greets all participants and parents in a professional and friendly manner. MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • High School/GED. College level study in a physical education, health education or recreational program preferred. • Previous experience in coordinating recreational programs. • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities • CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire) • New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire) WORK SCHEDULE: • Part Time • Work hours: Weekday evenings and weekend mornings PART TIME BENEFITS: YMCA Membership, Y Retirement, Paid Sick Leave
