The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands that even the smallest details can make a meaningful difference in a guest’s experience. Essential Responsibilities • Clean and maintain all assigned public areas throughout the resort, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, guest gathering areas, offices, and other common spaces. • Ensure public spaces are consistently clean, orderly, well-stocked, and beautifully presented. • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, and sanitize surfaces according to established resort standards. • Clean and maintain public restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked and presented to the highest standards. • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners as needed. • Maintain cleanliness around entrances, elevators, stairways, walkways, and other high-traffic areas. • Monitor public areas throughout the day and address cleanliness or presentation needs promptly. • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged furnishings, or other issues to the appropriate department. • Replenish supplies such as paper products, restroom amenities, and other guest-facing items. • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of outdoor public areas as assigned. • Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies. • Operate cleaning equipment safely and properly. • Respond courteously and professionally to guest questions and requests, directing guests to the appropriate team member when needed. • Maintain awareness of guest activity and work efficiently while minimizing disruption to the guest experience. • Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Facilities, Front Office, and other resort departments. • Follow all resort standards, safety procedures, and policies. • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times. • Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding guest information. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Guest Experience Expectations Every member of our team contributes to the guest experience. We expect our team members to: • Greet guests warmly and acknowledge them when encountered. • Be attentive to guests’ needs and offer assistance whenever appropriate. • Maintain a calm, courteous, and professional presence in guest areas. • Take ownership of the appearance of the spaces around them. • Notice the details before they become issues. • Treat guests, colleagues, and the resort with care and respect. Qualifications & Skills • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred but not required. • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work. • Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member. • Excellent time-management and organizational skills. • Ability to follow instructions and established cleanliness standards. • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor. • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers. • Reliable and dependable attendance. • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the workday. • Ability to safely lift and carry supplies and equipment as required by the position. Our Culture We believe that exceptional guest experiences begin with exceptional employee experiences. Every team member has an important role in creating a workplace and resort environment where people feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated. We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, takes pride in their work, and understands the impact their role has on our guests and fellow team members.
