The Commercial Security Technician performs service and installations of commercial security including access control, video surveillance, security, and networking. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Service and Install commercial security systems, including existing system upgrades and additions, while demonstrating complete understanding of the use and function of all required personal protective equipment. • Install cabinets, cameras, and radios as required. • Install conduit and underground cabling to support system installations. • Installations require knowledge and ability to understand and explain: • Testing system components. • Attend classroom and field training as required. • Work on an on-call schedule rotation. • Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
